Residential Painter – Full Time

Location: Wagga Wagga, NSW

Hours: 38 hours per week

Irons Builders Pty Ltd is a respected building company working closely with one of Australia’s largest general insurance groups. We specialise in insurance-related building works, including repairs, renovations, and maintenance across Wagga Wagga and surrounding regional towns.

We are seeking an experienced Residential Painter to join our team on a full-time basis.

​

About the Role 

You will be responsible for preparing and painting residential properties to a high standard, ensuring all work meets our quality and safety expectations. The role includes travel to outlying towns within the Wagga region, with all travel costs covered by the company. You must possess the ability to work independently, organise and schedule your own tasks, and effectively communicate with clients and other trades.

Key Responsibilities: 

•    Surface preparation, including sanding, filling, and priming.

•    Applying paints, stains, and finishes to interiors and exteriors.

•    Working to project deadlines while maintaining quality workmanship.

•    Communicating with team members, supervisors, and clients as required.

•    Ensuring worksites are kept clean and safe.

Requirements: 

•    Proven experience as a residential painter.

•    Knowledge of paints, finishes, tools, and application techniques.

•    Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.

•    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

•    Current driver’s licence (essential).
